SMT / PCBA Assembly
Our automated SMT lines deliver world-class PCBA across a diverse range of technologies. With strong emphasis on Statistical Process Control, we continuously analyse our systems to eliminate quality issues, ensuring every board leaves our facility right first time. Capable of the very latest packaging technologies including micro-pitch QFPs, BGAs, CSPs and 01005 components.
Selective Soldering
Through-hole technology remains a critical part of many assemblies. Our selective soldering machines enable precise pin-by-pin soldering on double-sided SMT PCBAs, individually configured per product to maximise throughput while achieving the barrel fill required to meet IPC class requirements. Nitrogen-purged to 99.999% purity for the perfect solder joint, every time.
Box Build & Mechanical Assembly
True turn-key capability means the finished product, not just the board. Our mechanical assembly team integrates PCBAs into enclosures with cables, brackets, fasteners, and accessories, leveraging lean manufacturing methodologies to drive down cycle time. We work with you from the early stages of design, advising on DFM principles that result in faster, lower-cost assembly.
Firmware Programming & Functional Testing
No assembly-level inspection surpasses the confidence delivered by full functional testing. Every unit can be run through an in-line functional test jig, with failures fed back to production teams in real time. We can advise on test strategy, assist with basic test jig design, and support fully automated test solutions that eliminate human error and reduce per-unit testing cost.
Conformal Coating & Adhesive Application
Products requiring repeatable, precise conformal coating or adhesive application are processed through our robotic applicators and dedicated fume chamber. Precision-controlled dispensing and spraying removes the risk of over or under-application, ensuring consistent protection across every unit; critical for products destined for harsh or demanding environments.
Environmental Chamber Testing
Our environmental chamber lets you subject finished units to a controlled range of humidity and temperature conditions prior to functional testing. This adds a further layer of confidence in both your design and our processes; particularly valuable for products deployed in challenging or outdoor environments.
From Components to Customer-Ready
Our production assembly teams build to kanban-ready distribution systems, integrating with procurement and distribution to deliver in the shortest possible timeframes.
PCBA – Paste, Place & Reflow
Solder paste is applied by our automated screen printers at ±12.5µm precision. Components are placed using our high speed Pick and Place machines with 100% pre-placement optical alignment. Assmblies are reflow profiled to ensure consistent, void-free joints.
Inspection — Automated Optical Inspection Systems
In-line automated optical inspection (AOI) checks every part on every assembly against defined quality criteria in real time.
Automated Selective PTH Soldering
Through-hole components are selectively soldered to IPC class standards, within a nitrogen-purged environment for optimal joint quality.
Coating, Cables & Sub-Assemblies
Boards requiring conformal coating are prepped, processed and inspected before integration. In-house cable stripping and crimping options limits outsourcing. Sub-assemblies are built and staged for final integration.
Box Build & Mechanical Assembly
PCBAs are integrated into enclosures with all mechanical components, using lean assembly techniques and product-specific jigs to minimise cycle time and maintain consistency at volume.
Firmware & Functional Test
Firmware is loaded and every unit is validated through your functional test requirements with agreed acceptance criteria. Environmental chamber conditioning can be added for additional design confidence. Nothing ships until it passes.
Labelling, Packaging & Despatch
Finished units are labelled and packed to your exact specification; retail, industrial, or bespoke, with even your own packing slips, merchandise and documentation. Ready for sale.

Cable Manufacture
