In the interests of supporting our staff, visitors and surrounding businesses we have purchased an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The AED is a portable electronic device that can identify life threatening cardiac problems and treat them through electrical therapy.

Being able to use AEDs is taught in most first aid courses and our first aid trained staff are able to administer this lifesaving treatment.

Also available to neighbouring businesses and people, our AED is found on AED Locations (aedlocations.co.nz) which maps 2200 sites.

This recent website and mobile app is an answer to many emergencies where people are in need of defibrillators but do not know where they are located.

Our AED can be found at our 26F William Pickering Drive site.

We hope that this device is not needed but will be very grateful to save a life if it is ever utilised.
