QuickCircuit has successfully passed its latest AS9100 surveillance audit, maintaining certification to one of the most demanding quality management standards in the electronics manufacturing industry.
For our customers, the result matters more than the badge. AS9100 isn’t a certificate you earn once and file away — it’s a standard you have to prove you’re still living, every year, under independent scrutiny from an external auditor. The audit is where “we’re certified” either holds up or it doesn’t.
We first achieved AS9100 in 2018, and we pursued it by choice — not because a customer required it. We could see where New Zealand’s aerospace and high-reliability electronics sector was heading, and we wanted to hold ourselves to that standard ahead of the curve.
Maintaining it calls for deep, risk-based process control: rigorous documentation and traceability, disciplined management of our external suppliers, and a focus on the advanced requirements that aerospace, defence, and medical customers depend on. Passing a surveillance audit comes down to the hundreds of small decisions our team makes every day — recording things properly, following the process, and catching issues before they move downstream. You can’t cram for it; the result reflects how we already work.
