Statistical Process Control

Statistical Process Control is the ongoing analysis of the data taken from the production process to identify problem areas on the assembly in real-time - to enable corrective actions to be taken immediately. The obvious advantage of this is the elimination of errors at a very early stage in the run - and with previous build data - even before they happen.

Quickcircuit uses the following SPC techniques to ensure the high quality end-product.

  • Factory Projected Real Time Factory Floor Monitoring
  • Skills Matrix to only allow operators with the correct skill level to perform work on a job
  • Scara Robots with a High Resolution Camera inspecting SPC Hotspots which will dynamically change during the current build.
  • Multimedia Works Instruction and QA Alert
  • FMA (Failure Mode Analysis) performed on build information with alerts to the floor and management
  • Full traceability on products down to PCB/component level
  • New technologies & automation equipment to improve product quality through repeatability and consistency (Solder Robots, Selective)
